Statistics - St.Joseph

In 2009 250 children in MI were victims of methamphetamine related abuse, 26 of these were in St.Joseph county, second in the state only to kalamazoo county.

There were 9,731 children under three years of age in MI alone that were the victims of abuse or neglect….and another 22,594 that were over 3 years of age. It shocked and sickened me to find out that 64 of the perpetrators were FOSTER parents…come on people.

20% of the children in care in Michigan are under age 3, this is NOT acceptable Michigan, wake up and smell the abuse, it is a national epidemic but we are definitely one of the states leading the disgraceful list.
