2 year check up

I never posted but here are the results of her 2 year check up.

32.25 inches (10-25%)25.5 lbs (25-50%)19.25 inch head circumference (75% ile)--finally she may be able to balance her head some day, that is down from 95+% every other time!

Overall, no concerns, advanced verbal skills and a bit on the short side. She is still in 18month clothes and doctor was surprised that I thought that she had just gotten her growth spurt as she grew out rest 12mo pants and some one piece 18mo pj's. Overall seems she has flip flopped again with her height to weight ratios which she has done a couple times now, so perhaps she is getting ready to grow taller. Verbal skills seem on par with ~ 3 year old desired milestones. The doctor was surprised to hear her saying a few different things which were nothing compared to normal since she was being 'shy' and even Jared commented on how this was far sub-standard of her typical dialogue.

A friend of ours child is very close in age to Lillian and is opposite, talks less and is 100% active I dont know if I coudl keep up with the child myself! He can kick a ball, hit a ball with a bat, run (like really run not Lillian trot). So it is interesting to see the different aptitudes the kids take on so young--and the already apparent difference between boys and girls. Talking is definately her venue of choice. It makes it interesting with her looking younger too as people will tend to be a bit shocked and ask how old she is since she looks about height of 18month old, with hair down to her shoulders and a ~3 year old vocabulary!
